Mars Hill Nursery
Mars Hill Nursery

The Mars Hill Nursery is available to all children 4 and under during both the 9:00am and 10:30am Services. The nursery is located directly behind the Sanctuary and you are welcome to drop your child off, or sit with them in the nursery and listen to the service. Our Nursery is staffed by caring staff and volunteers that have had a background check and been trained in CPR, First Aid, and our Safety Policy. Parents are given a silent pager to notify them if needed.

Sprouts
Sprouts

Sprouts is our Sunday morning ministry for children ages 3-6. It's a great chance for young children to begin learning about God while still having a whole lot of fun playing with friends. Drop off for Sprouts in the 9am service is at the Nursery in the Sanctuary Lobby. In the 10:30 service you can drop your 3-6 year olds off in the Children's Building at The Dig. (They will split off after opening worship in The Dig.)

The Dig
The Dig

The Dig is Mars Hill's answer to Sunday School! It is an opportunity for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade to gather and learn about their faith in a fun and safe context. Our children will be learning Scripture and Christian values from a curriculum that is written in house to be like VBS every Sunday- worship, age-appropriate lessons, games, crafts, and so much more!

The Dig meets every Sunday at 10:30 AM in the Children's Education Building.

VBS at Mars Hill
VBS at Mars Hill

Every year Mars Hill Church puts on Vacation Bible School for young families in the church and community, and each year we have seen huge success as kids and volunteers pour their heart and soul out for Jesus. This year will be no different! Sign up starts the Sunday after Spring Break and VBS at Mars Hill is held from 9am - Noon every year during the 3rd full week of June.

Mars Hill Youth Ministries

It is our goal to provide a safe environment where youth can ask questions regarding their faith without being judged. We want to teach now, so that they are ready later. We also believe that our Youth are the church TODAY, not tomorrow. So we are always trying to provide opportunities for our Youth to serve in the church and community.

ROOTED

ROOTED is our middle school ministry meeting Sunday mornings at 10:30am in the youth room. (Students can show up as early as 10am to play ping pong, foosball and air hockey, or just hang out!) We are currently going through the book of Psalms to learn about how to deal with the ups and downs of life.

ASCENT

Middle and High School students are invited to head on out to The Nest Wednesdays at 6:30pm. We'll have games, snack, drinks, and so much more! We can't wait to fill you in about the new school year. Invite your friends and we can't wait to see you there!

Mars Hill Church Preschool
Mars Hill Church Preschool

Mars Hill Presbyterian Church Preschool began in 2001 as a ministry committed to providing quality education in a loving Christian setting. As such, we are God honoring, providing a safe environment for our kids to play and learn. We want to set your child up for success getting him or her ready for kindergarten. We believe in a well-rounded curriculum that involves hands-on teaching with art, music, creative play, and Bible stories and verses.

Each class follows a schedule that includes time for music, movement, art, Bible stories, crafts, snacks, circle time, centers, outdoor play time and academic instruction.  There is a school-wide theme, color and shape of the month.  We use the Zoo-phonics academic curriculum (www.zoophonics.com), and our Bible education curriculum studies one Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23 ) per month. We have a student body of 62 and staff of 13.  All staff members must pass a criminal background check and take classes in CPR and First Aid.
